The job of Controller is done for the purposes of managing Capital Region Educational Service District 113 finances, both short and long-term financial well-being, to the service of programs that it deploys to serve students and staff of regional school districts and educational entities.
To this end, the Controller manages the operation of the Business Office (budget, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, accounting principles, contracts and purchasing).
Embedded in these functions are requirements to lead in development of, and comply with agency, grantor, state, and federal objectives and policy; serve as a resource to agency personnel; and maintain a well-trained Business Office team.
