We have a great opportunity for a self-motivated Fiscal Technician to join our Accounting Services Unit!The Department of Licensing is one of the most public facing state agencies and the second largest revenue generating agency in Washington State.

If you are ready to start your financial career, we encourage you to apply today! EXAMPLE OF DUTIES As the Fiscal Technician, you will be primarily responsible for fiscal data entry, including accurately entering amounts received and batches to the appropriate systems.
Using your attention to detail you will reconcile, sort, and balance revenues received statewide, ensuring the amounts recorded balance to the amount deposited.
Additionally, you will be working in office with a dedicated team to ensure accurate and expedited entry of vital information.
Some of what you will do: Make copies and retain required documents.
Return to sender all documents/payments received that cannot be processed.
Maintain file copy of items returned.
Perform daily Lockbox verification of date order and completeness for filing.
