Quiznos Yelm is looking to hire experienced employees to lead our team members and create a culture of success for the staff, our store, and our customers.
Duties:
Quiznos assistant managers' are in charge of the overall operations during a shift to make sure that the food handling and product preparation follow the company’s standard operating procedure.
Also included in their duties are implementing food safety, maintaining cleanliness, and performing inventory control both on the supplies as well as the equipment owned by the store.
The assistant manager must also be able to efficiently manage every team member's tasks to avoid confusion and ensure that the overall operation of the store will run smoothly.
The assistant manager also trains newly hired personnel and they also learn to perform some of the basic responsibilities of the store manager.
The assistant manager has the responsibility to open and or close the store and must be 18 years of age or older.
Must possess a valid driver's license and the vehicle to fill in for deliveries in an emergency.
In addition to the day-to-day operations Quiznos assistant managers support the general manager with duties such as inventory, ordering, receiving products, returns, handling product disputes with suppliers as well as scheduling staff for upcoming weeks.
Must have the Food handler health card.
Paid online education hours and training are available for Safe Serve Manager training and certification if the new hire does not have it already.
This must be completed within 60 days of hire to remain in the assistant manager position.
To fulfill this position an assistant manager must have or learn all the skills that a Quiznos team member is required to have, these include: Prepping products, Making Subs, Stocking, Dishwashing, Delivery, Cleaning Equipment, Cashiering, Customer service, etc.
Experience in a sub sandwich shop or similar experience is a plus.
But it is not required.
Promotion to Assistant Manager is also available in-house for the right candidate.
