Manage the day-to-day facility operations of all BOP locations, ensuring that all systems and processes are functioning optimally.
Frequent site inspections of all company owned facilities to ensure a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of each facility, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, in addition to preventative building and equipment maintenance.
Perform direct contact and management services for the banks security and cleaning vendors ensuring services are delivered consistent with agreement terms.
Manage and coordinate all facilities issues for all leased properties and work with property owners (landlord) property management in a positive and professional manner to resolve facilities issues or concerns.
Work with internal department managers to ensure facility requests are within budget Document and report variance to plan.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to facilitate repairs as needed.
May require meeting vendors onsite.
Oversee all maintenance contracts and contractors to insure quality work on a timely basis.
Manage preventive maintenance programs and ensures schedule is adhered to in order to minimize down time Manage and make recommendations for capital improvements as needed.
Oversee all office moves and tenant improvement projects, working with General Contractors, vendors, and BOP staff.
Present updates of the project to the BOP team.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including branch staff, managers, and executives.
Cultivate and maintain a positive working relationship with client representatives (BOP or external) and service providers.
Maintain accurate records of projects, preferred maintenance contacts, equipment and warranty information, and materials and supplies.
Track and prioritize facilities maintenance requests.
Plan and perform basic building repairs, miscellaneous jobs, and handyman work on commercial property structures, which may include but are not limited to: Light carpentry and general repairs Sheet rock plaster repair and painting Minor plumbing tasks Preventive maintenance tasks such as filter maintenance.
Replace light bulbs.
This position may have direct supervisory responsibilities of a Facilities Coordinator.
Position is responsible for oversight of contractors, vendors, and other third party contracted maintenance crews.
Other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience: Some college or technical school courses in related field.
Three years or more of construction management and/or facility maintenance experience required.
Experience working in construction trade desired.
Facility and or Janitorial experience desired.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Extensive experience using maintenance and remodel tools such as hand tools, power tools, shop tools, HVAC tools, plumbing tools and electrical tools Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, follow safety protocol Flexible work schedule with the ability to travel the BOP footprint for vendor visits, general repairs, and frequent site visits.
Overnight lodging may be necessary if two or more consecutive days of business are required and the distance traveled is at least 100 miles one way.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) used to convey key information between departments and external contacts Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding position, strong ability to adapt to changing job responsibilities.
Planning and problem solving.
Basic computer skill with working knowledge or ability to learn various office software Working Conditions / Environment / Potential Hazards: While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works in a variety of settings and can include working outside exposed to weather elements.
Work involves being able to concentrate on the matter at hand, sometimes managing distracting work conditions and interruptions.
Work requires regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule with willingness to work additional hours as needed.
Flexibility with schedule to meet the needs of the operations.
