The Prairie Restoration Technician Lead will support the restoration of native prairie ecosystems in collaboration with other stakeholders in the Chehalis Basin.
This project will restore and enhance habitat within prairie and wetland areas in the South Puget Sound.
With work completed in the office and the field, this position involves labor intensive, multi-faceted duties that require a high level of motivation, versatility, and independence.
Under the direction of the program staff, the coordinator will lead the technicians in restoring prairie habitat and species at essential conservation sites.
*Education & Experience: *A High School diploma or GED required.
College credits in Natural Sciences preferred.
Some supervisory experience preferred.
Must obtain Washington State pesticide license and firefighting certification during employment.
Prefer experience working with American Indians/Native Alaskan communities.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $21.
71 per hour
