What You'll Do Exterior Maintenance of Grounds Power washing areas on campus such as walkways, building entrances, dumpster areas, etc.
Washing exterior windows and walls Performing general grounds work around buildings and sidewalks – weeding, debris pick up, blowing and/or sweeping around buildings and building entrances Operates and maintains equipment and hand tools used in this work Empty and maintain exterior trash and recycling receptacles Snow removal/ice treatment at sidewalks and building entrances Trash removal/dumpster pick up and emptying Cleans, maintains, paints stairs, rails, doorways, etc.
Events Support Provide support for the set up and tear down of events Qualifications You Possess Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent At least two years of experience in general exterior, grounds maintenance work Preferred Qualifications: Strong commitment to customer service Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner Ability to work well in a team environment and to work independently Commitment to a working environment that values a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds To Apply Applications must be completed online and include the following attachments: Cover letter addressed to the Screening Committee highlighting your ability to perform the responsibilities and competencies described in the job posting.
