THE POSITION We are in search of a Sales Assistant at Alaskan Campers to play a key role in supporting our sales team.
This role will assist our adventure seeking customers throughout the sales process, provide product information, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Listen to customer needs and provide information on our custom camper solutions.
Guide customers through the product selection process, addressing any inquiries they may have.
Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our custom camper models, features, and options.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to effectively communicate product differentiators.
Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate smooth sales transactions.
Prepare and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Provide administrative support, including maintaining CRM.
Customer Follow-up: Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Assist in managing customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing.
Monitor and replenish product literature and promotional materials.
Other duties as assigned.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve common goals.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, particularly in managing sales orders and customer information.
Qualifications Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
Computer skills required, including proficiency with Google suite and web-based software, CRM experience a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience and training preferred.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS Physical Demands and Work Environment Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; crouch; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms.
Walk and drive, safely and alertly for extended periods.
Occasionally required to lift up to 10 lbs.
