We are seeking a Data Communications and Perinatal Collaborative Coordinator to join the Surveillance and Evaluation (S&E) section of OFCHI.
This position reports directly to the S&E manager and is integral to our efforts to improve maternal and child health in Washington State.
The Perinatal Collaborative Coordinator will facilitate discussions within the office and with external partner to develop vital maternal and child health data reports.
Additionally, this role will work closely with the Perinatal Unit to connect high-risk and disadvantaged pregnant women, children, and families to essential resources and services to ensure healthy starts and child development.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct research and develop written materials for the maternal mortality review panel (MMPR) case narratives (community vital signs sections): Compile essential data and insights for MMPR case narratives, focusing on community vital signs sections.
Disseminate lactation and other guidance documents through presentations and trainings for both clinical and non-clinical groups: Share crucial guidance materials to improve perinatal care through engaging presentations and training sessions.
Lead conversations with S&E epidemiologists, OFCHI and DOH subject matter experts, and external partners to identify topics of interest, scope, and structure of topical reports: Collaborate with experts to define the scope and structure of topical reports.
Develop report content, timeline, and work-plan in collaboration with OFCHI leadership and staff: Create comprehensive reports, establish timelines, and collaborate with OFCHI leadership and staff.
Work settingThe duty station for this position is in Tumwater, WA.
Telework (mobile work) is currently expected.
When approved, the incumbent is expected to report to the duty station for work activities.
Partial telecommuting may be an option subject to supervisory approval.
We anticipate the incumbent will work at the Tumwater office once or twice a month, depending on business needs.

AND Demonstrated experience effectively writing summaries and condensed versions of a wide range of information for a large audience.
Demonstrated experience leading a team and managing projects.
Demonstrated experience using data collection methods, analyzing biases, and understanding data limitations.
