Title: Retail Floor Manager (Seabrook Goods & Apparel) Department: Marketing
Location: Seabrook Retail Stores Supervisor: Director of Buying and Merchandising
Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt Pay Grade: $50,000 DOE + Compensation Package
Job Summary:
As the Retail Operations Manager at Seabrook Cottage Rentals, you will oversee critical facets of our retail operations, ensuring seamless functionality and alignment with our organizational goals.
Your responsibilities include new hire onboarding, staff scheduling, visual merchandising, sales team leadership, collaboration with marketing efforts, and performance reporting.
Working closely with the Director of Goods and Apparel, you will assist in executing the store's merchandising plan and overall operational strategy to achieve annual sales targets.
Additionally, you will support the Assistant Manager in processing new inventory and purchase orders.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
New Hire Onboarding: Lead the new hire onboarding process to integrate new team members effectively.
Staff Scheduling: Manage store and staff scheduling to ensure optimal coverage and operational efficiency.
Visual Merchandising: Maintain in-season visual merchandising standards to enhance the store's appeal.
Sales Team Leadership: Manage and lead the sales team to achieve annual sales goals.
Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the store aligns with Seabrook's brand and marketing efforts.
Performance Reporting: Execute recurring reports on the store's performance.
Assist Director of Goods and Apparel: Support the Director in implementing the merchandising plan and overall operational strategy to achieve annual sales targets.
Support Assistant Manager: Assist the Assistant Manager in processing new inventory and purchase orders.
Supervision:
Supervision Received: Performs work independently with significant autonomy under the general supervision of the Director of Buying and Merchandising.
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of Store Management, including supervisory oversight of one or more Retail Sales Associates, interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and performing reviews.
Education & Experience:
Education: Associates Degree required.
Higher education in Business, Marketing, Management highly preferred.
Previous experience in retail operations is required.
Management experience is preferred.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully:
Frequently move or lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally move or lift up to 25 pounds, rarely move or lift up to 50 lbs.
Occasionally ascend/descend stairs/ladders as required, stooping/bending, pushing/pulling.
Occasional exposure to moving objects and other machines in operation throughout the property; Rarely exposure to dust, gas/fumes, airborne particles, extreme heat or cold, electric shock, vibration, chemicals, and noise.
Additional Requirements:
If driving company vehicles, possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License and proof of liability insurance.
Must accept confidentiality as a strict condition of employment.
Successfully pass pre-employment Drug/Alcohol Screen.
Successfully pass Criminal Background Check.
Maintain any training and credential requirements per policy and procedure required for the position now and in the future.
Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
