Join Our Team as a Pearson Test of English Client Relationship Manager! TITLE: Client Relationship Manager Territory: Managing relationships with priority US Universities At Pearson, we believe in the power of education to transform lives.
As a Client Relationship Manager for the Pearson Test of English (PTE), you're on the front lines of driving awareness, campaigning for fairness and engaging in the international education community.
Your role is crucial for test takers and institutions.
PTE is a suite of language tests which is growing rapidly worldwide, as a strong competitor to IELTS and TOEFL.
The team requires a self-starter to drive a test recognition program for PTE Academic and other related products across higher and further education institutions in the United States with an agreed global recognition strategy.
The Client Relationships Manager will work alongside PTE colleagues globally to drive activity between sending and receiving markets.
They represent the interests of the US in product development and will provide market information to the business.
This is a remote/home-based position with approximately 35% travel, including visits to college campuses and national meetings.
Please note that we do not offer relocation packages for this position.
The ideal candidate should be based in or around: Chicago, IL Indianapolis, IN Miami, FL Key Responsibilities Your day-to-day will involve: Strategically planning at both the territory and institution levels.
Developing and executing a tactical plan across higher education institutions within the territory, with the aim of securing the highest level of endorsement/use/status of/for PTE Academic.
Using a mix of campus visits and virtual campus days to consistently connect with 10+ faculty members daily, employing effective consultative sales techniques.
Building and managing relationships with Admissions Offices, International Offices and other university leaders and staff to secure the highest level of awareness and endorsement for PTE Academic.
Using a mix of sales and influencing skills, to develop university and college relationships to demonstrate the benefits of PTE Academic.
Providing support to universities and colleges for score verification, recruitment and admissions.
Maintaining accurate and timely tracking and forecasting in OneCRM (Salesforce.
com).
Demonstrating excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
Delivering effective presentations to stakeholders via industry conferences, forums, webinars or social platforms.
Proactively positioning PTE Academic and expanding brand awareness.
Understanding and collaborating with the key external stakeholders including education associations & Study Consortiums.
Working closely with the Customer Success organization to ensure effective support for key customers.
Staying up to date on Pearson products, platforms, and capabilities.
Keeping informed about issues impacting the international educational industry, market environment and competitor information.
Demonstrating collaboration by sharing successful tactics across your district, region, and nationally.
Willingness to take on assignments with cross-functional task forces when needed.

Qualifications To embark on this journey, you should bring: A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and successful work experience.
A minimum of 2 years of outstanding sales performance in the higher education market or a related industry.
Proficiency with Office tools, mobile technologies, computer applications, and business systems.
Knowledge of English language assessments or with educational testing.
Experience working within a university or admissions/recruitment office environment.
