Your responsibilities will encompass content planning, organization, and execution.
Drawing upon your extensive subject matter expertise, you'll support our strategic communications efforts, ensuring that our messaging is not only impactful but also compelling.
Adept at crafting narratives, you'll be a strong writer and editor, capable of creating content that resonates with our audience.
You'll also bring your skills in visual and video creation to the table, as well as a deep understanding of engaging hybrid audiences, both virtual and in-person.
Staying at the forefront of modern communication methods and trends will be essential, all with the ultimate goal of enhancing both internal and external engagement.
Some of the duties include: Create engaging digital content for agency using appropriate distribution channelsManage agency social media platforms, strategy, content calendars, and communityWrite, edit, and publish web content for agency intranet and public websiteUtilize content management systems and email delivery platforms for content publishingCapture and edit photos and videos at campus locations; offer graphic design support for visual specialistDevelop and execute strategic communication plans for internal and external projectsDraft talking points, speeches, and email communicationsSupport hybrid meetings, assisting with virtual and physical setupsAttend events to create content promoting agency initiativesRepresent DES on external committees and Communications on internal committees Other duties as assigned SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Please provide the following documents in order to be considered; failure to do so may result in you not being considered for the position: A letter of interest that shows your personality and voice to describe why you are the successful candidate and how you meet the specific qualifications for this positionA current resume, detailing experience, and educationA current list of at least three (3) professional references with current contact information Please Note: By submitting these materials, you are indicating that all information is true and correct.
