Job Type: Onsite / not remote.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Events and Promotions Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for developing, planning, and executing promotions and events to increase brand awareness and engagement for both gaming and non-gaming sections.
You will coordinate with marketing, sales, and other departments to create engaging promotional campaigns that drive business growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Update LCCR’s marketing calendar and coordinates with all relative departments to maintain the calendar accurate and consistent.
Assist in drafting briefs, including all necessary details from concepts to execution of all gaming and non-gaming promotions; special events including, but not limited to, giveaways; tournaments; player development events; monthly specials for Food & Beverage/Golf/Spa/Hotel, and offsite events to meet the specified marketing timelines.
Support the marketing strategic direction relating to promotions and special events, including operating procedures, structure, and efficiency in order to provide maximum value to LCCR.
Assist in collaborating with other departmental Heads to create promotions and special events to promote their products, also with internal Marketing team to ensure all promotions are properly advertised; strategic scheduling all entertainment for event center and casino lounges and coordinating with internal and external production and staffing resources to execute all entertainment efficiently; and managing the business discussion and negotiation with vendors and prepares all requisitions, orders necessary to execute the promotions, events, entertainments accurately and timely.
Coordinate with Marketing Database to prepare Pre- and Post-forma with its return on Investment (ROI) analysis of all promotions and special events.
Create, distribute and communicate all required support and impacted information, procedures and rules to team members and other departments to provide the best preparations as well as guest services.
Assist in tracing competitors’ entertainment, promotion, and event strategy to maintain and grow LCCR’s competition forces and market shares.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
At least two years’ experience in casino marketing, promotions, events, and entertainment planning and execution; preferred.
Combination of education and experience may be considered.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Gaming License issued from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission (must be able to pass a background check to obtain license on site.
) The gaming license cost is covered by LCCR.
Requires a Valid Washington State Driver License and must be insurable on the Tribe’s insurance.
Benefits begin on the 1st day of the month following your hire date, even if you start on the 31st of the month.
