00 Job Summary YMCA Camps Orkila and Colman have a century-long history of encouraging young people to develop their fullest potential in spirit, mind and body.
Located on 100+ acres on the Key Peninsula south of Seattle, Camp Colman offers traditional summer camp experiences; outdoor environmental education for school groups; and a variety of family camping experiences.
The Sr.
Program Director directs and oversees the operations and program development of the assigned program area(s).
This position is responsible for ensuring continuity of program and services while providing oversight and development to program staff.
Reports to the Executive Director of Camp Colman.
Must be 21 years or older to apply.
For this position we are looking for someone who will drive a YMCA provided mini bus to transport campers.
*This means you must have held a valid driver's license for at least 3 years and must have a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years, no DUI/DWI, and no tickets 20+ miles above the speed limit).

Oversees the recruitment, hiring, development and supervision of the Seattle Office staff to ensure successful enrollment goals and processes are met.
Provides leadership and appraises performance.
Supervises payroll and human resources administration for the branch.
Works with the branch board and committees as assigned.
Assists the Group Executive Director in the financial development of Camping Services, including the annual campaign, and the funding of specific capital projects.
Supervises the financial assistance program for the branch.
Assists the Group Executive in the cultivation of alumni including the identification of past campers, alumni record keeping, the development of alumni correspondence, maintenance of historical files.
Assists with the development and implementation of a year-round marketing plan.
Provides for the production and dissemination of information promoting the programs.
Ensures staff effectively communicates camp programs to the public.
Supervises promotional event planning to assure a quality and professional outcome.
In coordination with the Group Executive, manages the branch budget process.
Works with volunteer committee to monitor monthly financials.
Develops the Seattle administrative budget.
Provides program data and reports in support of the branch and Association planning process.
In concert with the Group Executive Director, gives leadership to branch long-range strategic planning and monitors performance and objectives.
Supports the Group Executive Director as a resource and by participating in various committees and groups.
Code of Conduct for Applicants Qualifications: What we're looking for in an applicant Bachelor's degree in business, human services or equivalent.
Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered.
Five years or more of progressively responsible experience in staff supervision, office management, budget development and monitoring.
Experience in marketing, public relations and volunteer development.
Must have an understanding of voluntary organizations.
Ability to assess financial and business needs and plan accordingly.
Knowledge of computer systems, including personal computers and applications.
Ability to act independently and to exercise discretion.
Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.
).
Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
This position requires driving: 21 years of age or older.
Current Driver’s License with a minimum 3 years safe driving experience and a driving record which meets or exceeds YMCA standards Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered.
