*Responsibilities:*
As the DNR’s presales expert, this position is the agency expert for all timber sale planning and preparation, including document standards and maximizing timber sale revenue through appropriate market timing.
This position also ensures the program consistently implements Agency policies and standards as well as meets requirements in State law before the Board of Natural Resources approval and public auction.
This position provides the leadership of the DNR timber sales presales program by proactively developing, expanding, and improving tools for DNR staff to complete planned sales for auction.
In addition, this position expands the linkage to DNR’s timber customers and business partners.
As a primary timber presales trainer, this position should be able to motivate and guide personnel within the division and regions to achieve Product Sales goals and objectives.
*Required Qualifications: *
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Forestry, Natural Resources, or a closely related field AND 5 years experience in the forest industry
OR equivalent education and/or experience.
* Experience creating and modifying highly complex spreadsheets or datasets to meet different project needs.
* Project management experience.
* Experience providing expectations and feedback for others, following a formal performance & development plan outline.

Pay: $65,748.
