I.
General Job Description This position will be responsible for parts shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions.
The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.
Responsibilities Receive parts into DSI business system and warehouse parts to the assigned bin and rack locations.
Operate pallet and lift equipment.
Adhere to inventory control procedures and conduct cycle counts daily and weekly.
Control inbound and outbound freight billing.
Secure warehouse from unauthorized personnel.
Process core and return parts to help ensure full credit and recovery.
Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained in safe operating condition.
Monitor environmental compliance (MSDS) and advise Parts Manager of potential storage risks.
May occasionally deliver or pick-up parts off-site using a company vehicle.
Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers.
II.
Minimum Job Qualifications 18 years of age.
High school graduate, GED, or 1 year of work experience.
III.
Desired Job Qualifications Ability to work independently without direct on-site supervision.
Heavy-duty truck aptitude.
Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and a qualified MVR abstract.
Strong organization, communication, and phone skills.
IV.
Mental Capability Requirements Comprehension: Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral/written instructions and information.
Organization: Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
Reasoning & Decision Making: Ability to apply common sense in performing job.
Communication: Ability to understand follow basic instructions and guidelines.
Mathematics: No mathematical ability is required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to site, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach overhead, and climb stairs throughout the Parts warehouse and stand for extended periods of time.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally help left and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities are required.
Employee is required to drive a motor vehicle for extended periods of time and travel frequently from the office to customer sites.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high and precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.
The noise level is moderate.
