We are seeking to fill an IT Training Coordinator position to serve as the Information Services Division's (ISD) expert in designing, developing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating classroom and virtual training and educational programs for Revenue's staff and customers of DOR technology systems.
You will apply substantial knowledge of hardware, software, applications, and other IT systems, as well as learning methodology and principles in the development of IT curricula and instructional material.
The hiring manager may start screening applicants as early as April 30, 2024, and make a hiring decision at any time after.

Duties Other duties include: Collaborating with Revenue's divisions to assess needs and to develop, implement, and evaluate broad-based solutions and training programs.
Researching, creating, and producing instructional materials for classroom, onsite, and virtual technical training for unique DOR technology platforms and systems.
Administering enrollment and registration processes.
Creating and advertising class schedules for to staff.
Conducting evaluation and analysis of the IT training program’s effectiveness.
Curating and maintaining a list of standard off-the-shelf trainings (e.
g.
, LinkedIn Learning) related to DOR’s off the shelf technology platforms.
Monitoring the IS training budget status.
Qualifications Associate degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field AND three years of experience working in an IT division.
Note - An equivalent combination of IT-related training and experience may substitute year for year for education.
In addition, candidates must have a strong working knowledge in one or more areas below: Application development, network operations, system administration, IT policy, IT project management, cyber security, technical support, or technical writing.
Successful candidates must have proficiency using M365 suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
) and strong written and oral communication skills.
