Job Description:
Responsible to Head Coach/Athletic Director
Must be able to attend all school practices, games, tournaments, meetings, etc.
Must be able to drive district vehicles to transport participants.
Support the Head Coach in conducting the athletic program of that particular sport and the total athletic program of the school district.
Assume the responsibility for maintenance of facilities and personnel in the absence of the Head Coach.
Report all injuries, misconduct, or other unusual situations to the Head Coach, Athletic Director, or Principal.
Assist in checking in and inventorying all equipment at the end of the season.
Assume all duties assigned to the Head Coach in the event the Head Coach is absent.
Attend rules clinics, workshops, and classes that are required to maintain compliance with WIAA coaching certifications standards.
Apply discipline in a fair, firm and positive manner.
Conduct themself in an ethical manner during practices and contests.
Provide information regarding Letters and special awards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.
Complete and file mandatory WIAA rules clinics with the Athletic Director.
Complete and file mandatory Safe School tests with the Athletic Director.
Criminal Justice Background Clearance via fingerprints.
