At First steps we provide multiple childcare options while offering an academic program for each preschool age group (6weeks -5 1/2 years old) and a developmentally appropriate curriculum for our infant and toddler programs.
Our goal is to provide an environment that stimulates the child’s physical, mental, emotional,and social development.
Hours looking for are 9:00am to 6:00pm or 2:00pm to 6:00
Monday through Friday.
Closed for holidays.
Qualifications & Skills:
* MERIT account will be required
* Current CPR and First Aid, Blood borne pathogens certificate, Food Handlers, and a TB test within the last year.
* Experience working with young children
* Good communication skills
* A team player attitude
* Patient, kind, and caring is a MUST
First steps is looking for a qualified teacher or teacher aid to help teachers and sub in rooms as needed.
The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental, social, and emotional development of the children so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.
Our ideal teacher will have a great love and patience for children.
