Shift Schedule: Night Shift - (9:30PM - 3:00AM - approximate, Sunday - Thursday) General Summary: The purpose of the Shuttle Driver position is to haul a full trailer to the Portland, WA Unhook the full trailer, hook up an empty trailer, and haul that trailer back to Lacey where the shift started.
Essential Job Functions: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer Haul a full trailer to the Portland, WA Unhook the full trailer, hook up an empty trailer, and haul that trailer back to Lacey where the shift started.
Drivers must maintain safe operation of company vehicles on all public and private roadways and property Drivers will conduct themselves with professionalism as Class A CDL Drivers using safe driving techniques, defensive driving, and abiding by all of the DOT mandated regulations which may apply to their day to day work Other duties as assigned by manager Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of transportation principles and methods for transporting goods by commercial vehicle Skilled in using time efficiently and attention to detail Ability to physically complete physical requirements of job Ability to drive commercial vehicles (semi-trucks and trailers up 53 feet, solo trucks, vans, etc.
).
