Description
Are you passionate about creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests? We are seeking a customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hotel Guest Services Representative.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their stay is enjoyable and memorable.
You will assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in all Resort Guest Services related functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate cord or cordless switchboard in a courteous, expedient and precise manner to relay incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls for the property.
Answer overflow calls at the front desk in a timely manner.
Maintain knowledge of all in-house services and answer guest inquiries.
Promptly and effectively deal with guest issues.
Make Resort reservations, and input into the computer as required.
Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.
Make follow-up courtesy calls.
Post guest charges and compute guest bills using Opera PMS.
Collect payment and make change for Resort guests following all cash / credit card handling procedures as required by Little Creek Casino Resort.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Offer and properly handle requests for wake-up calls.
Supply information to callers and record messages.
Perform clerical duties such as sorting mail, stuffing envelopes, stamping coupons, shredding papers, etc.
Develop a thorough knowledge of all Resort room locations, room rates, amenities and selling strategies.
Develop a thorough knowledge of the MVP program and enroll new members as requested.
Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures.
Block rooms and handle special requests.
Monitor room availability.
Handle safe deposit boxes for guests per established procedures.
Keep the lobby and desk areas clean, presentable and well organized at all times.
Perform shift start-up and end duties; make cash drops.
Complete daily transaction journal for Income Audit; ensure all credit cards, cash and change funds are balanced throughout each shift.
Requirements
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED.
Prior experience within the hospitality or related industry, preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Class II Gaming License issued from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission (must be able to pass a background check).
Requires a Key Employee license
