}}} Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department - Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met - Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance - Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement - Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient guest services and maintenance of common areas - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed - Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services - Maintain a safe working environment for staff by enforcing safety policies and procedures - Communicate with guests in writing (via text message and email) as well as by phone }}} Requirements: - Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting - Proficient at using a computer, Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn and use business apps - Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, including floor care and custodial practices - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and other departments in writing and verbally - Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards - Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team Please note that this is a general job description for a Housekeeping Manager position.
