ABOUT CASCADE:
Cascade Community Healthcare (CCH) has been providing treatment services to Lewis County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years.
Our mission is to provide our clients with compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more satisfying lives.
Cascade currently has six treatment locations in Lewis County.
The Cascade Evaluation and Treatment Center provides intensive mental health and psychiatric services for adults 18 and older.
This 22-bed facility has 16 beds on the evaluation and treatment unit, and 6 beds on our crisis stabilization unit.
The Cascade Evaluation and Treatment Center is looking for a Kitchen Service Aide to join our team! The Kitchen Service Aide will provide meal preparation, serving, and sanitation services SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Day Shift: Sunday - Wednesday, 7:00am - 5:30pm This position is eligible for $2/hour shift differential for eligible hours on Swing an NOC shifts and hours worked on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
This position will normally require a non-standard work week including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
The employee needs to be aware that certain circumstances may also require working a flexible schedule.
This position is classified as “non-exempt”, according to the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Due to the 24-hour, 365 day per year operation of the center all staff will be required to remain working on site until relieved by a replacement staff.
PAY SCALE: $18.
50 - $27.

Must be able to follow sanitation requirements.
High standards of personal hygiene at all times while working, including frequent hand washing and securing hair away from face.
Ability to read, write and follow English oral and written directions and pay close attention to details when setting up trays, using portion control and sanitizing dishes and equipment.
Must be able to pass WA State Patrol background checks, may require a national background check.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
Interpersonal skills necessary to establish effective relationships with all department workers and with other departments.
Must comply with agency policies and procedures.
Must represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
Must maintain current home telephone and address on file with the personnel office.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Participates in prep work of main kitchen and associated kitchens.

Food preparation and serving food.
Maintains cleanliness of work area.
Daily care of dishwasher and dishwashing area, sinks, prep areas, dish storage areas and food carts.
Must monitor inventory at all times and report items that need to be reordered.
Assist in menu creation.
Receive incoming food orders and rotating stock.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
Operate mechanized cleaning equipment (kitchen).
Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacement.
Complete housekeeping assignments as necessary or assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Provides reports in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Ensures that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained.
Participates in other activities at the direction of the Acute Psychiatric Services Program Director.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing and walking for long periods of time, majority of scheduled shift.
Protective holds, movements and carries.
Blocking and redirecting patient movements.
Physical interventions in response to aggressive and self-injurious behavior.
Ability to move quickly and confidently to intervene in situations when protective holds and/or movements are deemed necessary.
Ability to pursue a client in the event they try to leave the secure unit.
Successful completion of MOAB training (Management of Aggressive Behavior).
Including but not limited to pivoting, knee squats, shuffling front and backwards, assisting a person to the floor, stabilizing people in standing, seated, lying and supine positions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, and hear.
