*Our Centralized Investigations and Audits Unit (CIAU) in our Business and Professions Division (BPD) is currently recruiting for a Professional Licensing Representative who is passionate about the work we do to join their team!* We are one of the most public facing state agencies and the second largest revenue generating agency in Washington State.

*If you are a collaborative team player with familiarity with reading and interpreting policy, laws and regulations, we invite you to apply!* *Duties* As a Professional Licensing Representative, you will support licensing activities for multiple professional licensing programs and assist leadership, your team, complaint intake team, regulatory and compliance unit, and peers.
You will accomplish this by providing a wide range of customer support.
This may be completed by answering customer inquiries about business and professional licensing, reviewing application materials, analyzing data and backgrounds to verify completeness, and by issuing professional and business licenses.
Your ability to prioritize your workload will be key as you work independently to follow up and fully process requests with varying priorities.
*Some of what you will do:* * Initiate investigative inquiries of licensees and license applications based on violations or possible violations of state laws or regulations.
* Initiate and review applicant background investigations, evaluate documents, and approve applications.
* Assist in the review, revision, and implementation of state laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to CIAU.
* Supervise direct and indirect reports for the unit including reviewing and prioritizing workload, assignments, and work completed.
* Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly statistics and staffing plans for program leadership reviews.
*Qualifications* *What you will bring to the role:* * Experience must include two (2) years of the following: Interpreting and applying administrative statutes, rules, or federal regulations.
RCW's and WAC's in a regulatory environment.
Using computer programs such as Windows, Word, and Outlook.
Supervising employees, cultivating teamwork, cooperation and providing instruction and guidance to staff.
* Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and productively with employees and stakeholders on projects, day-to-day operations and initiatives while maintaining positive working relationships.
_Experience can be gained concurrently.
_ *What may help set you apart:* * Bachelor's degree in business or allied field; experience may be substituted, year for year, for the Bachelor's degree.
* Prior experience in the Real Estate Industry with knowledge of the industry, terminology, and how it operates.
* Knowledge and experience using DOL's POLARIS and DRIVES systems.
* Experience with organizational change management and its strategies.
* Experience reviewing, analyzing, drafting, and presenting legislative or rule making proposals.
* Proven track record of effectively organizing multiple assignments, sometimes of a complex nature or involving competing priorities to produce work products that are accurate, thorough, and on time.
