Medical Records and Referrals Clerk

Valley View Community Health Center is seeking a full time Medical Records & Referrals Clerk at our Raymond Clinic.
This position is responsible for processing medical records requests, including releasing and obtaining records, office correspondence filing, billing functions and referrals coverage.
Education: High school diploma or GED Required Qualifications: One year of administrative experience in a medical office preferred.
Must possess strong organizational and office computer skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
Must have excellent internal and external communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must have knowledge of HIPAA and client confidentiality laws.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
